I decided to talk about our photographer that is leading our African Safari. He seems very interesting and I love his pictures.

In the article I read he is doing an interview about what motivated him to be a photographer. One thing they ask him in the article is how much more photography is than the camera. What was really cool is he talks about how much this lifestyle affects your life outside of the photography. His wife has to be very understanding of his work because it takes them all over the world.

Another thing from the article that was really cool was when he talks about how infuriating nature photography can be. I never really looked at photography this way but he talks about how hard it can be to have a bush in the background that wont cooperate when everything else in your picture wont, and then as soon as it does something else decides to not cooperate. This is crazy because you cant just ask the lion to participate.
