Photography for beginners

Since I am pretty new to this whole photography thing I figured I would look up some helpful hints to take pictures.
The reason I like this article is because it makes you really think about different things that go into photography. I really never took the time to think of all the different components that could go into taking a picture. For example, when I went to take a picture in the past I never really focused on perspective. I just took a picture and moved on, but I am excited to try taking a step back and adjusting the way I look at the subject of my picture. I also never tried to use focus in the way it talks about in the article so it is interesting to see how you could use it.
After reading the text for today I really enjoyed learning how to understand photography and what is actually happening, especially with exposure. I decided that since our whole chapter talks about exposure and how it works, I can now take that information plus these new tips and hopefully create some fun pictures.
